Introducing our latest collection Matamua, meaning ‘olden times’ in Tahitian culture. Sourcing Inspiration from our mother land Tahiti and the mystical Vahine.

Matamua is an ode to the lost golden age, when the human beings lived in harmony with nature.

The Collection features, loose shapes, raw fabrics and bygone Polynesian patterns. The Pareo is the typical ancient garment of the Pacific Islands and sets the tone of our Summer 2020 collection.

THE CONSCIOUS CAPSULE

Kohei is in search of authenticity and progress. This is why we begin this year with a capsule collection in complete harmony with nature. It is a collection that encourages us to become aware of our planet and its beauty that we must protect.
 
The conscious capsule was inspired by nature, effortless yet subtle. A timeless wardrobe combining structure and fluidity showcasing a beautiful earthy palette.
 
Finding reliable solutions within the industry led us to collaborate with artisans based on the east side of Bali, teaching us the traditional handwoven process. Also, making us discover and explore the different stages of natural dyes. We have been sourcing eco-friendly fabrics for this collection certified toxic-free to replenish and maintain soil fertility.
 
Today our primary goal is to create sustainable and timeless garments that last to reduce environmental impact.
